Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our warehouse team, first shift - permanent position. This is not a high-volume internet based packaging position. We are making critical components for the Aerospace Industry and our goods that are being shipped have to packaged to strict aerospace standards and requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing inbound and outbound shipments and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. This role requires familiarity with warehouse operations, including the use of forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting e-commerce and distribution channels.
Duties
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks while adhering to safety protocols
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and efficiency
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas
- Manage shipping documentation and coordinate with carriers for timely dispatch
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, and update inventory records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Transport goods using a company utility van
- Periodic light-duty cleaning and light-duty maintenance
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, especially in shipping & receiving operations
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers is highly desirable. Should have a fork lift license.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time for shifts scheduled during warehouse hours

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
