Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Marketing Coordinator located at our beautiful waterfront office in Old Town Alexandria. This is a highly content-focused role where creativity, organization, and adaptability are key. You’ll play a hands-on role in full funnel marketing campaigns including; content production, social media, video editing, email marketing, graphic design, and PR, working closely with our team in a fast-paced marketing environment to drive growth in restaurant and retail brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and optimize videos for marketing and social media.
- Assist in crafting and executing email marketing campaigns.
- Support press release and article writing, distribution, and PR outreach.
- Design and update advertisements, social content, and marketing materials.
- Maintain and update Fransmart’s website, brand landing pages, and content calendar.
- Plan and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms.
- Assist with event and conference planning.
- Regularly visit restaurant and retail brands to capture content and stay updated on their marketing efforts.
- Help onboard new brands using Fransmart’s marketing toolkit and strategic recommendations.
Who We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of marketing experience (agency experience is a plus)
- Experience in content creation, video editing, and graphic design.
- Strong writing skills with experience crafting press releases, articles, or blog posts.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or video editing tools is a bonus.
- Comfortable learning and using tools like HubSpot, Asana, and other CRM platforms.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of organization.
- Passion for franchising, restaurant, and retail brands.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
