Ice cream server/ barista

As a Team member, some of your core responsibilities will include:

• Greets customers upon entry.
• Prepare frozen desserts including ice cream scoops, shakes, Smoothies as well as frozen yogurt.
• Prepare and serve coffee/ tea beverage orders, such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, etc. while considering customer specifications.
• Handle customer complaints or questions, while working to maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of all beverages/items.
• Clean-up and organize customer area, production area, coffee equipment, and back-room / storage
• Prepare and re-stock ingredients and toppings
• Dependable in accomplishing assigned tasks and making it to every shift on time.
• Records all sales, collects money, operates a cash register and follows all cash-handling procedures as required.
• May operate a cash/credit card/electronic payment register.
• Complies with all company safety, policies and procedures.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Weekend availability is a bonus. We currently are looking for daytime availability
• Food handler card required after hire.
• Ability to communicate with team members and customers.
• A sense of humor, likes to have fun, but still hustles to get the job done.

In order to perform the activities assigned to you we will expect that you will:

• Be attentive and extremely courteous to customers.
• Be knowledgeable of all recipes presented in the menu.
• Weigh or measure ingredients in our recipes before mixing and/or serving the guests.
• Follow the correct ice cream scooping and coffee methods
• Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Wear FRANNIES uniform.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.35 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
