Summary:
The Resource Technician I is responsible for the delivery of safe and effective nursing care. This individual will function in an organized manner and demonstrates professional qualities. The Technician must be flexible in duties and willing to work as an integral part of the healthcare team. The Tech will have an awareness of the cost of supplies and equipment to manage usage in a cost-effective method. Additionally, the Resource Tech will demonstrate annual skills competency and understanding in areas of assisting personnel, maintenance of supplies, and maintenance of aseptic technique in the proper cleaning, sterilization, utilization, and care of rooms in the service area. Must be committed to providing support and assistance for maintenance of patient care, for patients of all age groups.
Requirements:
Committed to continuing education to upgrade skills in a constantly changing profession.
Licenses and Certifications:
AHA BLS required
