What are the responsibilities and job description for the FWSU Board Certified Behavior Analyst position at Franklin West Supervisory Union?
Franklin West Supervisory Union is seeking a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our student support team. This position will work collaboratively with special educators, administrators, related service providers, and other school personnel to develop and implement positive behavioral supports that promote student success. The successful candidate will have experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), analyzing behavioral data, and providing training and coaching to school staff. The BCBA will support teams in implementing evidence-based practices and creating inclusive learning environments that meet the diverse needs of students.Candidates should be flexible, proactive, and committed to working as part of a highly collaborative team dedicated to supporting student growth and achievement.Qualifications: -Current BCBA certification and applicable Vermont licensure/certification requirements-Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Intervention Plans-Knowledge of data collection and progress monitoring systems-Experience providing professional development, coaching, and consultation to school staff-Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills-Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and community partnersThis position serves all schools within Franklin West Supervisory Union and may require travel between school sites.
