What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Franklin & Vaughn, LLC?
Franklin & Vaughn, LLC is a full-service CPA firm providing accounting, auditing, consulting and tax services to individuals and businesses. We are currently seeking a temporary Office Assistant to join our team in our Alton, IL office.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist during tax filing season by assembling completed income tax returns, corresponding with clients regarding their income tax returns, and exchanging income tax information to clients.
- Assist with client administration, including correspondence preparation and handling, maintenance of client and contact database and upkeep of client files.
- Assist with administrative matters, including calendar planning and coordination, office communications, office filing and supply needs, and workflow processing.
Minimum qualifications and requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Polished, poised demeanor exuding reliability, confidence and friendliness
- Professional discretion with confidential information
- Comfort as primary liaison with clients and vendors
- Relevant and sufficient technology and software skills
- Effective task-management and time-management skills
