DESCRIPTION
The Inventory Control Associate shall work with the Department Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor(s) to maintain an accurate supply inventory. To manage the receipt and of deliveries to the primary storage location, the basement of FMS@SGS, and to ensure the facility is in good order and all supplies are easily located and pulled for delivery. In addition, The Inventory Control Associate shall be the person primarily responsible for inventory record keeping. Recording receipt of goods and supplies as well as out going items. As well as working with vendors to request price quotes, check delivery status and/or return status.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be a licensed driver and/or have transportation to and from work sites.
- Must be able to lift at least 80lbs unassisted.
- Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude with hand tools.
- Be competent in the use of computer applications such as Google and Microsoft Office.
- Have a pleasant manner when dealing with vendors and other district staff.
- Must possess a Black Seal Operating Engineer's license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
- Successful Criminal History Clearance
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
- The Inventory Control Associate shall be able to perform the essential functions of their position at 100% capacity, without any permanent physical limitations that would limit his/her ability. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find acceptable.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT & COMPENSATION
In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTSSA collective bargaining agreement this role in the 26/26SY is compensated at $33.76/ hourly. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.
