Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Senior Equity Research Analyst to cover the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. The ideal Analyst will have 8 to 12 years of related experience as a Senior Equity Research Analyst in fundamental analysis covering the biopharma sectors, will be a creative thinker, and have direct experience making price-based investment recommendations as a trusted partner in the equity investment process.
We will consider candidates with a variety of backgrounds such as institutional portfolio management and hedge funds. This position will be based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Templeton is part of Franklin Templeton and a leading global investment organization with a rigorous valuation methodology and a singular culture, philosophy, and process.

Key Responsibilities
How you will add value:
- Independently identify and evaluate profitable investment opportunities amongst listed in the US and broader Americas.
- Conduct thorough fundamental analysis of a company’s business and financial position, including cash flow analysis, balance sheet and income statement evaluations, and draw insightful conclusions.
- Communicate and advocate for investment opportunities verbally and through written research reports.
- Contribution to relevant equity portfolios as a team member
- 8-12 years of fundamental equity research experience covering the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors as an equity analyst.
- Strong numeric, analytical and investment skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong investment performance track record
- Bachelor's degree and CFA required. MBA preferred.
- Buy-Side Equity Research experience with similar coverage.

Salary : $160,000 - $200,000
