Franklin Street Convenience is seeking a reliable and responsible Overnight Store Associate to support store operations during overnight hours in Washington, DC. The role includes assisting customers, operating the register, restocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and helping ensure a safe and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly service
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
- Handle cash and electronic payments
- Restock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays
- Check product prices and maintain organized displays
- Clean and maintain checkout and sales areas
- Monitor store conditions and follow safety procedures
- Receive and organize merchandise when required
- Complete overnight stocking and store-support tasks
- Follow company cash-handling and operating procedures
Requirements
- Previous retail, cashier, or convenience-store experience is helpful
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Basic math and cash-handling ability
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as required
