The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success of the Ellsworth branch, including daily operations, staff leadership, audit readiness, customer experience, and community growth. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a “player-coach” mindset - someone who can develop people while also stepping in to support customers and branch activity when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, coach, and develop staff while ensuring excellent customer experience and consistent performance.
- Drive deposit and relationship growth through account opening, outbound calling, referrals, and community engagement.
- Lead from the front by assisting customers directly, resolving escalations, and stepping into daily branch work when needed.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while continuously improving branch results.
- Lead branch operations, including security, cash controls, dual control standards, and audit readiness.
Qualifications:
- Supervisory or leadership experience in banking, retail financial services, or a related customer-focused environment.
- Proven ability to coach and develop employees while maintaining high operational accuracy and accountability.
- Strong understanding of branch operations, deposit products, security procedures, and service expectations.
- Proven ability to generate new business through outreach and relationship building.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills.
- Comfortable being a hands-on leader who supports daily branch activity and leads by example.
- Commitment to community engagement and representing the bank with professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
