We are looking for reliable, motivated, friendly people who are enthusiastic about working with children. We need individuals who have had previous experience working with or supervising groups of children in a variety of settings such as camp, classroom, etc. This job provides invaluable experience for those who are committed to working with children long-term (i.e. future educators, counselors, social workers, physical education, etc.). This is also a great opportunity for those pursuing a Master's degree.

Responsibilities
Extended Day Teacher
- Work from 2:15 p.m. to 6 p.m., during the school year (flexible hours - possible to leave at 5 p.m. or only work several days a week)
- Ability to communicate with children on their level
- Comfortable assisting children with homework
- Supervise indoor and outdoor games
- Plan appropriate and meaningful activities for students
- Ability to maintain a classroom
- Effectively implement school mission and guidelines
