Activity Monitor

Position Type: Activity MonitorLocation: Washington Street K-2 Elementary SchoolReports to: School PrincipalTerms of employment: Part-time position approximately 15 hours per week, 10 months a year.Salary: $16.24 per hourGeneral Description:To support building personnel by providing supervision to children during lunch and recess periods. Qualifications:

• Must successfully pass Criminal Offender (CORI) background check and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI).

Physical Requirements:

• Extensive physical demands, including but not limited to lifting up to 40lbs, bending, pushing, and pulling
• Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot/cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist children during lunch and recess periods
• Insure childrens safety by monitoring and directing children in appropriate behavior
