Essential Functions
- Replace Team Leader in their absence or fill in for as needed on a day-to-day basis
- Follow standard operation procedures, on various assembly lines in the respective job area
- Inspect work and equipment as called out on Work Instruction Manual
- Report any equipment abnormalities/problems to Line/Group Leader
- Maintain a clean working area
- Needs to advance to Team Leader
Job Dimensions (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities or KSAs)
- Be multi-functionally skilled; any job assignment should be able to be performed in the respective job area,
- Ability to run all operations efficiently and perform all checks as required in the Work Instructions,
- Flexibility to work overtime or off shifts as needed to meet schedule requirements,
- Good understanding of the Toyota Production System,
- Ability to be active in kaizen activities, and
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
