What are the responsibilities and job description for the TEAM LEADER - PRODUCTION CONTROL -TOTE HOUSE position at Franklin Precision Industry Inc?
Essential Functions
- Daily Manpower Management using Manpower Visual Management Board
- Confirm building of shipments using according to the shipping board
- Daily warehouse assessment check for 5’s & Safety compliance
- Responsible for operator training in accordance with approved Standard Work Instructions
- Assist when necessary, in the event of operator shortage and or break time relief
- Confirm Daily Forklift inspection has been completed for all Forklifts in Shipping
- Support operator for 2-way scan failures and document the reason & countermeasure
- Daily confirmation that operator is completing the 2way scan via the online scan log
- Complete Daily changepoint check sheet at the end of the shift
- Ensure operator completes 5’s responsibilities at the end of the shift
- Scan shipping paperwork to Com team and greeting drivers
- Conduct Worker Observation audits at specified intervals
- Confirm each load is loaded correctly and complete.
- Ensure all team members are wearing all required PPE
- Able to create and follow through with Kaizen
- Verify daily forklift checks are being done
