Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Franklin Physical Therapy. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a relaxed setting with one-on-one patient care. You will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their highest level of function through personalized rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities:

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessment, interpretation, goal development and treatment through both hands-on care and an active approach to help patients return to the highest level of function. Our patient population consists of general orthopedics, geriatrics, adolescents, post-surgical orthopedics, operative and non-operative and sports medicine.

The licensed occupational therapist assesses, plans, coordinates and executes prescribed therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury of a body part, assisting the patient to reach their maximal functional performance level.

  • Develop and implement therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
  • Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
  • Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
  • Record and document patient care services
  • Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care

Qualifications:

  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Certification / License: MA OT License or Evidence of submission of a complete and accepted application for licensure by examination to the MA Board of Allied Health
  • Experience: Previous applicable experience preferred, new graduates welcome to apply
