Summary

  • Serves the financial needs of credit union members. Helps members identify financial goals and objectives through face-to-face financial analysis and identifies appropriate insurance and securities products to meet members’ goals and objectives. Achieves program profitability for CUNA Brokerage Services, Inc. and Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union by developing long term relationships and utilizing prescribed methods to grow business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts member interviews, investment advice/plans, portfolio reviews and servicing appointments daily.
  • Sources new clients using Centers of Influence and current client referrals.
  • Sells effectively and appropriately by establishing relationships with eligible members, finding their needs and then offering appropriate solutions. Presents in a compelling way so the client sees the value, understands the features and benefits, and purchases the proper solution.
  • Maintains and documents, via designated software and CRM platform, regular client annual review meetings to enhance client relationships and to identify additional opportunities, i.e.: Insurance, Estate Planning, and Financial Planning.
  • Presents a professional image in all interactions both personally and professionally. Acts as a brand and program ambassador for Mint Wealth Advisors to FMFCU employees, SEG’s and within the community.
  • Performs all related job duties and office operations in accordance to established Credit Union and broker dealer policy and procedures.
  • Utilizes all technology and fact finding profile form as required for compliance review.
  • Meets or exceeds individual production goals with an appropriate product mix
  • In collaboration with the Credit Union, creates and executes on an annual Marketing Plan.
  • Continually strives to grow business via Lobby Days, seminars and workshops, execution on system of referrals, segmentation of book of business, etc.
  • Attends and participates in CBSI meetings, virtual and face to face, as scheduled.
  • Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), FINRA and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union and its members.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of three years of successful financial services sales experience with verifiable commission history.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively build business relationships with diverse clients
  • Must hold a current Life/Health Insurance License
  • Current FINRA Registration Securities Industry Essentials Examination, Series 6, Series 63 and Series 7 licenses
  • LUTCF, CLU, ChFC or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation preferred; credentials recommended.
  • Clean credit and U-4 CRD history.
