A growing company in the industrial machinery field is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parts and Service Manager to lead its support operations. This role includes managing spare parts quoting, assisting customers with technical issues, and ensuring a high standard of service across installed systems.
Key Responsibilities
Parts Quoting and Order Handling
- Prepare accurate quotes for spare and replacement parts
- Coordinate with internal teams to verify part specifications and availability
- Follow up on outstanding quotes and turn them into active orders
- Keep part records organized and align inventory needs with warehouse operations
Technical Support and Service Coordination
- Be the main point of contact for service-related inquiries
- Help customers troubleshoot equipment issues and find practical solutions
- Schedule service work with in-house or outside technicians
- Track support cases and spot recurring patterns that could lead to improvements
Customer Experience and Relationship Building
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers during support efforts
- Check in post-service to ensure resolution and satisfaction
- Use customer feedback to help refine products and services
Operations and Reporting
- Strengthen internal procedures for quoting, order flow, and service documentation
- Provide regular updates on support activity, parts sales, and service performance
- Collaborate with leadership to align service efforts with company goals
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience in parts management, technical service, or customer support for equipment or machinery
- Comfortable reading or learning to read mechanical diagrams and identifying parts
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Background in technical equipment, manufacturing, or industrial products
- Associate’s or technical degree in a relevant field
