Responsibilities:
3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am)
Occasional overtime may be required.
Pay
$25.79 per hour until certified, then $30.18 per hour
Shift differential of $1.20 per hour is paid for 3rd shift in addition to wage rate above

We have an opening for a Reactor Operator
Responsibilities:
- Tends to equipment or systems that process chemical substances into industrial products
- Dumps specified amounts of solid materials into heating vessels or blending tanks
- Turns valves to feed liquid and gaseous materials through equipment units
- Maintains system at specified temperature, pressure, and vacuum levels
- Observes chemical reactions; monitors gauges, signals, and recorders; and receives notification from control laboratory, supervisor, or other workers to make specified operating adjustments.
- Draws samples of products for laboratory analysis
- Maintains log of gauge readings and shift production
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- 18 years of age or older
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
- Chemical processing experience is strongly preferred
- Must be able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Union membership required after 30 days of employment
