About Our Family
We are a family of seven with five kids ages 7, 5, 4, 2, and 4 months. Mom is home and actively involved — this is not a sole-charge role. You will be working alongside a present, engaged parent to make the day run better for everyone.What This Role Actually IsThis is not a position where you execute a pre-planned schedule and report back. It is also not a position where you take over. You are a second capable adult in the room — someone who reads the environment, anticipates what's needed, and acts without waiting to be directed.Mom handles the parenting. You handle the friction.What You'll Actually Do
- Keep younger kids engaged and safe while mom gives focused attention to another child
- Manage transitions — snacks, meals, outdoor time, nap — without needing step-by-step direction
- Hold the room calmly when things get loud or chaotic
- Handle small conflicts between kids independently
- Help with light tidying during the day — not housekeeping, just keeping things functional
What We're Looking For
- Experience with infants
- Experience managing 3 children simultaneously
- Someone who notices what needs to happen next without being told
- Calm, warm, and consistent — especially with toddlers
- Reliable and communicates clearly
This Role Is Not For You If
- You prefer sole-charge or working independently without a parent present
- You need detailed instructions to get through the day
- You haven't worked with babies under 6 months
