Duties
- Perform exterior washing, vehicle paint correction, and automotive buffing to restore vehicles’ shine and appearance
- Conduct thorough interior detailing, including vacuuming, cleaning upholstery, dashboards, windows, and door jambs
- Operate standard passenger car equipment such as automotive buffers, cleaning tools, and janitorial supplies safely and effectively
- Use manual transmission vehicles for test drives or positioning within the facility when necessary
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout the detailing process to meet high standards of quality and presentation
- Follow safe work practices at all times while handling heavy lifting tasks or operating cleaning equipment and buffers
- Ensure the proper use of auto detailing products and equipment to maximize efficiency and results
Experience
- Prior experience in auto detailing or auto detailing facility environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle exterior washing techniques, buffing, paint correction, and interior cleaning processes
- Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and safe work practices in an automotive setting
- Experience with automotive buffers, cleaning equipment, and janitorial or custodial tasks is advantageous
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during cleaning procedures
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients when interacting during vehicle drop-off or pick-up
