What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wood Display Builder & Assembler position at Franklin Fixtures?
Franklin Fixtures is growing, and we’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented people to join our assembly team. In this hands-on role, you’ll help build wood shelving, displays, counters, tables, and other custom pieces used in bookstores, libraries, universities, and specialty retail spaces across the country.

What You’ll Do
- Assemble wood displays, shelving, counters, tables, and components at a workstation
- Follow technical drawings, diagrams, measurements, and work instructions accurately
- Use hand tools and measuring tools, including tape measures
- Complete repeatable assembly tasks with consistency and attention to detail
- Check your work for quality and accuracy
- Work independently and with the team to meet production goals

Physical Requirements
- Standing for entire shift
- Regular bending, pushing, pulling and reaching
- Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs as needed
Work Environment
This is a manufacturing plant environment. Work is indoors and protected from the elements, but temperatures can still be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday-Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Overtime available
