Network Engineer – Professional Services
We’re seeking a Network Engineer to join our Professional Services team, supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise IT environments. You’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver complex networking projects while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, install, and support network, security, and infrastructure equipment.
- Analyze environments and recommend improvements or remediations.
- Contribute to solution design, scoping, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across varied environments.
- Continue developing Cisco, Fortinet, and broader networking expertise through ongoing learning.
- Maintain strong client and team relationships with professionalism and clear communication.
Technical Requirements
- 5 years of experience in network engineering.
- Proficiency with Cisco and Fortinet routing, switching, wireless, and security technologies.
- Experience with Cisco IOS, NXOS, ISE, ACS, Prime, and FortiGate firewalls.
- Strong understanding of EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, QoS, and firewall concepts.
- Experience supporting enterprise or data center environments.
Preferred
- Cisco CCNA (required or achieved soon after hire); CCNP and Fortinet NSE certifications preferred.
- Experience in professional services or systems integration.
- Strong technical documentation and Visio diagramming skills.
