Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Counter Specialist to join our growing team at Franklin Equipment Sales. You will be the primary point of contact for parts sales to retail customers, landscapers, and our service technicians. This role is critical for keeping our customers mowing and our service department running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in and phone customers with parts lookups and sales for Bad Boy, Toro, Wright, Kioti, Stihl, and related accessories.
- Process parts orders, special orders, and returns accurately and efficiently.
- Support service technicians with timely parts availability and ordering.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and help with stocking/receiving.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and accessory sales.
- Learn and utilize our dealer management software for lookups, ordering, and invoicing.
- Assist with warranty parts claims and returns.
- Help grow parts sales through proactive customer outreach and upselling.
- Keep the parts department clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Requirements
- Previous parts counter experience preferred (OPE, powersports, automotive, or agricultural equipment ideal).
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning new software.
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in outdoor power equipment is a big plus.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay Range :
$45,000 – $62,000
Pay: $45,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
