Responsibilities
- Design and deliver individualized academic instruction tailored to each student’s learning profile.
- Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet IEP goals and academic standards.
- Implement research-based instructional and behavioral strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Franklin’s multidisciplinary team of learning specialists, executive functioning coaches, and administrators.
- Maintain detailed session notes and progress documentation.
- Communicate regularly with parents, school personnel, and outside professionals.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university (required).
- Current California Education Specialist Credential or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching or direct instructional experience with neurodiverse learners.
- Deep understanding of learning differences (e.g., ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, anxiety).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach.
