Highway Flag Person/Laborer

Position includes flagging and directing traffic for road maintenance projects and labor to support various work crews.   Position requires direct contact with the traveling public. Position is temporary and will not exceed 990 total hours in a calendar year.

Normal work schedule is a forty (40) hour work week, Monday thru Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

 

Minimum Requirements:

18 years of age

Valid Missouri Driver’s License

Able to drive a ½ ton pickup truck

Able to read road maps

Tolerate outside weather conditions.

Lift up to 75 pounds

Use brooms, shovels & other hand tools
