Job Title: Substitute Bus Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking highly qualified and responsible substitute bus drivers to transport students to and from school safely.
Responsibilities:
- Transport students to and from school in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain order and discipline among students on the bus.
- Monitor student behavior and report any incidents to the Transportation Director.
- Ensure that students follow all safety rules and regulations while on the bus.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Valid Class B Commercial License with a P&S Endorsement.
- A physical examination by a licensed Doctor of Medicine within 60 days prior to date of sub-employment.
- Submit to and pass drug, alcohol testing as prescribed in Federal, State and local policies.
- Minimum of two years driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Good moral character.
Working Conditions:
Substitute bus drivers work under the supervision of the Transportation Director and are expected to perform their duties in a professional and courteous manner.
