Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an English Language Arts Teacher at Franklin County Schools in Bunn, NC. The educator will design and deliver engaging lesson plans, teach English Language Arts to middle school students, and collaborate with colleagues and administrators to develop and implement effective academic programs. The role also involves guiding students’ learning, assessing their progress, and participating in professional development to enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English Teaching, Teaching, and Language Arts
- Experience in Middle School instruction
- Skills in Curriculum Development and understanding of age-appropriate teaching methods
- Strong ability to communicate and connect with diverse student populations
- State teaching certification in English Language Arts for middle grades or eligibility to obtain such certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field
- Preferred: Experience with utilizing technology in education and differentiated instruction
