The Franklin County Auditor’s Office is seeking a Public Information Specialist to join the Public Information team.

Who are we?

The Franklin County Auditor’s Office is dedicated to serving the community by ensuring fairness and accuracy in weight and measures across the county. Our mission is to protect and empower consumers, making sure they receive what they rightfully pay for at gas pumps and retail store scanners. As a trusted steward of county finances, we strive to promote fiscal responsibility and innovative initiatives that benefit all residents of Franklin County.

In addition to these important responsibilities, we assess property values to determine fair property taxes, while also working to provide tax relief for senior and citizens who are disabled. What will you do?

Provides professional, thorough, and consistent constituent service over the phone to residents and businesses who contact the Office; Monitors relevant mail and e-mail to provide prompt and efficient responses to both internal and external customers; serves as a public-facing representative of the Franklin County Auditor’s Office.

Assists other departments within the office as required (e.g., data entry, filing, stuffing envelopes, etc.); completes projects as assigned; supports and works collaboratively with coworkers; sets, pursues, and achieves goals and objectives.
