The kitter ensures that frame parts are maintained orderly and levels of inventory, as indicated by the computer, are accurate. Kitters are expected to perform a variety of functions on the computer to help ensure stock accuracy.

Summary
- Adjust stock inventory in the computer from a list provided by the supervisor, as well as entering part counts, entering and deleting culls, and entering replacement parts
- Arrange parts for upholstering lines in priority order to prevent downtime
- Pull parts for shop order and samples and adjust inventory accordingly
- Inform supervisor of incorrect inventory and parts that need to be ordered
- Prioritize frame parts by code in the order of which parts are to be used
- Check inventory bins for misplaced, returned, or mixed parts and place them in the proper bins
- Ensure adequate stock quantity for parts for high volume styles
- Ensure pattern parts are up to date and located in the proper bin or location & replace obsolete patterns with new pattern parts
- Assign, delete, or reassign bin numbers to parts and paint new pattern parts for identification
- Key in all re-cuts, culls, and missing parts into excel
- Sort each buggy and separate each frame by code
- Key by Purchase Order
- Load each buggy by code
