Duties
- Perform automotive structural repairs, auto body repairs, and cosmetic refinishing using industry-standard tools and techniques
- Use sanding tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and auto painting techniques to achieve high-quality finishes
- Install automotive parts such as auto glass, trim pieces, bumpers, and other components with precision
- Apply automotive dent repair methods and automotive cosmetic repair techniques to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely for various repair processes
- Ensure all work meets quality standards by inspecting finished repairs thoroughly before vehicle delivery
- Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background as an automotive body technician
- Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, and auto body repair
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience working as an automotive body technician or mechanic
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment
- Ability to perform auto restoration projects with attention to detail in automotive cosmetic repair and auto painting
- Experience with auto glass installation and automotive parts installation processes
- Capable of heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship
