Job Summary

The Cashier will also assist with product demonstrations and stocking shelves as needed, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases.
- Operate the cash register, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer knowledge.
- Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
- Supervise junior staff members during peak hours to ensure efficient operations.
- Answer customer inquiries over the phone with proper etiquette.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register.
- Ability to sell products effectively while providing excellent service.
- Experience with product demonstrations is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to supervise others in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
