Responsibilities
- Conduct oil and fluid changes using standard automotive procedures and power tools to ensure optimal engine performance
- Perform tire services such as mounting, balancing, rotation, and replacement with precision and attention to safety standards
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks including brake inspections, battery checks, and fluid top-offs
- Use automotive diagnostics tools to identify minor mechanical issues and communicate findings clearly to the service team
- Support alignment services and minor mechanical repairs to maintain vehicle safety and handling standards
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for various maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed, answering questions, and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
Skills
- Proven automotive service technician experience with a strong foundation in vehicle maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and familiarity with automotive diagnostics equipment
- Hands-on experience with automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, tire service, and basic mechanical repairs
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of automotive repair processes including alignment and minor mechanical work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual tasks in a fast-paced environment
