Job Summary And Qualifications
What you will do in this role:
- You will verify the medical order and procedure.
- You will gather data through PSG studies.
- You will complete and verify documentation.
- You will perform a variety of Sleep Studies, as well as assist in the scoring of those Sleep Studies after a specified period of time.
- You will promote a supportive environment that encourages collegiality.
- You will explain the procedure and orient the patient to the sleep center.
- Sleep Study procedures require rational judgment, as well as associated clerical duties. He/she works to fulfill the hospital and departmental mission, vision, and values.
- Completion of an approved Sleep Disorders program
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), or State Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, or State Registered Respiratory Therapist, or Registered Nurse, or Polysomnographer, or Registered Sleep Technician, or (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant
- Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
