Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming linen supplies, ensuring quality and accuracy of deliveries
- Maintain an organized inventory system for all linen stock, tracking usage and replenishment needs
- Distribute linens promptly to various departments according to daily requirements
- Ensure all linens are properly washed, dried, folded, and stored in accordance with hygiene standards
- Conduct regular cleaning and sanitation of linen storage areas to uphold health and safety protocols
- Assist with laundry processes including sorting, dry cleaning, and quality control of fabric items
- Keep detailed records of linen stock levels, usage patterns, and replenishment schedules
Requirements
- Prior experience in laundry services or linen management within a healthcare or hotel environment is preferred
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory efficiently
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy linen bundles and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail to ensure linens meet cleanliness and quality standards
- Good communication skills for coordinating with staff across departments
