Responsibilities
- Serve meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained during food handling and service.
- Assist in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring dining needs are met.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a clean and organized dining environment.
- Support the culinary department in inventory management and food production tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation and service within a culinary department
- Strong customer service skills and culinary service experience
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Familiarity with independent living, healthcare or hospital environments
- Time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Basic cooking and sanitation knowledge, with experience in meal preparation and cleaning duties
