We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Driver to join our supportive Frank’s family in the Stockton area. This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring our customers receive their flooring on time, in perfect condition, and with the friendly service we’re known for.

Your role will involve a combination of driving and warehouse duties. No two days are the same, from preparing and loading deliveries, to ensuring smooth stock control processes and supporting our fitting teams.

Job Purpose

To operate and control the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse and stores, ensuring safe, efficient and timely deliveries to branches and customers.

Main Responsibilities

Driving Duties:

• Deliver carpets, vinyl, laminate, LVT and other flooring products to stores and customers
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, on time and in line with company standards
• Load and unload vehicles safely, securing stock correctly
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle presentation
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at delivery points
  
  

Warehouse Duties

• Control stock and maintain accurate stock levels
• Quality control of incoming and outgoing goods
• Communicate effectively with fitting teams and store colleagues
• Manual handling of heavy goods
• Re-roll carpets
• Stock entry (computer skills required)
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organised and safe
  
  

Key Skills & Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience (preferred but not essential)
• Confident and responsible driver
• Friendly and engaging personality
• Helpful and polite manner
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Reliable, punctual and well organised
  
  

Hours

• 38 hours per week
• 45 minute unpaid lunch break
