What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable position at Frank's Detail, Inc.?
Summary
The employee is responsible for providing financial services to ensure efficiency, and accuracy of day to day processing of vendor bills/Accounts Payable. Assist with identification, research, and resolve vendor account discrepancies. Seek ways to work more efficiently and effectively while not losing sight of departmental goals. Complete other tasks/functions as needed. Work is supervised by the CFO and is reviewed periodically to assure conformity with departmental policies and procedures.
Primary responsibilities
The duties of this job will include but are not limited to the following:
- Vendor set up in QuickBooks
- Vendor compliance (W9)
- Credit Card Reconciliation
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation
- Data entry/coding of bills into QB
- Process Check Request & weekly ACH payments
- Audit and process credit card bills/receipts
- Vendor Audit
- Match invoices to checks
- 1099 Maintenance
- Subcontractor Billing
- Respond to all vendor inquiries and issues
- Maintain vendor files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Assist with Fiscal quarterly and year end close
- Support location clerks in the process of vendor bills in QuickBooks
- Limited GL, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Journal Entry
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office environment. Sitting and viewing computer screens for long periods of time. Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions will occur, and employees will be in close proximity to moving vehicles, oils, solvents, and other chemical hazards. The noise level of this job is rated as moderate.
