Position Overview

The Automotive Parts Manager oversees all parts department operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate parts sourcing, and strong relationships with vendors and technicians. You’ll play a key role in keeping the shop productive, profitable, and professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory of automotive parts and supplies
• Order, receive, and distribute parts promptly to service technicians
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors for competitive pricing and reliability
• Track parts usage, returns, and core credits
• Provide accurate parts quotes and availability to service advisors
• Keep the parts department clean, organized, and efficient
• Monitor department profitability and assist with meeting sales goals
• Deliver outstanding internal and external customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automotive Parts Manager or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and service operations
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Familiarity with shop management or parts ordering software
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused attitude
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
