Electrical technician of all experience levels

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Electrical Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing and industrial maintenance team. This position is open to candidates of all experience levels, from entry-level to seasoned professionals, who are eager to contribute to the reliability and efficiency of complex electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical and electronic systems, with the ability to perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation. Duties

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation such as AutoCAD drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using precision measuring instruments like ohmmeters, calibrators, and sensors.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain sensors, vision inspection systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) within manufacturing lines.
• Support calibration processes for instrumentation ensuring accuracy of measurement devices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on modifications or upgrades involving E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards related to high voltage and low voltage electrical work and MSHA regulations.
• Provide technical support for customer service requests involving electrical troubleshooting or system upgrades.
• Requirements
• Proven experience in industrial electrician roles or related fields; experience in military or industrial maintenance is advantageous.
• Proficiency with schematics reading, AutoCAD drawings, and use of precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters.
• Experience with calibration procedures for instrumentation accuracy.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work in industrial environments.
• Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills suitable for diverse teams working on complex projects. Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
