Benefits for Experienced (Black Hat) and Inexperienced (Red Hat) Miners:
PAY RATES
*SIGN ON & RETENTION BONUS FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES**
- $22-24/hr RedHat (Inexprienced) Coal Miner
- $27-28/hr BlackHat Coal (Experienced) Miner
- Health, Dental, Vision
- Paid Time Off
- 401(k) with matching after 6 months
Job Responsibilities for Experienced (Black Hat) and Inexperienced (Red Hat) Miners:
- General labor
- Roller and screen changes
- Belt work
- Steel sets
- Overcasts
- Jacks
- Seal preparation
- Pumpable cribs
- Scoop operating
- Bolting
- Gunnite
- Other laborer duties as required
Job Requirements Experienced (Black Hat) and Inexperienced (Red Hat) Miners:
- Underground PA Experienced Coal Miner or Apprentice Coal Miner Certification in state of PA Required.
- Valid Driver's License
- Able to work any shifts, including weekends and holidays required.
- Ability to pass background and drug (Hair Follicle) & alcohol testing required.
