What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Operator position at Frank Calandra Jennmar Services?
JENNMAR is currently searching for a CNC Machinistin the South Point, Ohio for our tools and steel division of XCAL. XCAL manufactures and distributes construction and demolition tools. These include paving breakers, rivet busters, chipping hammers, and many other air tools and tool steel.
Qualifications and Requirements of the CNC Machinist:
- Calibrate and operate a manual machine or grinder
- Cut, sand, drill, face and turn materials
- Ability to read blueprints efficiently
- Understanding of schematics
- Ability to calculate dimensions
- Fundamental math skills including knowledge of fractions and decimals
- Basic measuring skills using tape measure and micrometers
- Attention to detail
- Ability to set up machine and load material
- Repetitive standing and/or bending capability during normal phase duties
- Moderate to heavy lifting capability (20-65 lbs)
Work Schedule of the CNC Machinist:
- Monday – Friday
- Daylight Shift
Compensation and Benefits of the CNC Machinist:
