Job Purpose
The Certificate of Insurance Processor (CSR24 Expert) is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Certificates of Insurance (COIs) using CSR24 and other agency systems. This role ensures compliance with client and carrier requirements, supports account teams with documentation needs, and maintains high standards of service delivery. The Processor serves as a subject matter expert in CSR24 workflows and contributes to operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Job Purpose
The Certificate of Insurance Processor (CSR24 Expert) is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Certificates of Insurance (COIs) using CSR24 and other agency systems. This role ensures compliance with client and carrier requirements, supports account teams with documentation needs, and maintains high standards of service delivery. The Processor serves as a subject matter expert in CSR24 workflows and contributes to operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Certificate Processing and Delivery
- Process COI requests accurately and efficiently using CSR24 and agency management systems.
- Review client and carrier requirements to ensure proper documentation and coverage representation.
- Deliver certificates to clients and third parties in accordance with service level agreements.
- System Expertise and Optimization
- Serve as a CSR24 expert and resource for internal teams.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements to enhance certificate processing efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT and Operations to resolve system issues and support enhancements.
- Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure all certificates meet regulatory and contractual standards.
- Maintain accurate records of certificate issuance and related communications.
- Support audits and reporting requirements related to COI activity.
- Team Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with Account Managers and service teams to fulfill certificate needs.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on CSR24 usage and best practices.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in insurance operations or certificate processing.
- Prior experience with CSR24 and agency management systems (e.g., EPIC) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in CSR24 and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Work is primarily office-based with extended periods of computer use.
- May require occasional overtime during peak periods or special projects.
- Must be able to pull or lift up to 15 pounds at times.
