We are looking for an experienced carpet installer with a minimum of 2 years experience.

**Carpet Installer** **Duties:** - Measure and cut carpet to fit designated areas - Install carpet padding and secure it to the floor - Stretch carpet using power stretcher or knee kicker - Trim excess carpet and tuck edges neatly - Seam carpets together using appropriate techniques - Install carpet on stairs, ensuring proper alignment and safety - Repair or replace damaged carpets as needed - Move furniture and other obstacles as necessary during installation process **Skills:** - Carpentry skills for preparing subfloors and installing tack strips - Construction estimating to accurately measure and calculate materials needed - Flooring installation knowledge, including different types of carpet and techniques - Ability to restore carpets damaged by water or other factors - Familiarity with drywall repair and preparation for carpet installation - Proficiency in using hand tools such as knives, shears, and power tools - Experience in water damage restoration and mitigation is a plus - Buffing skills for finishing and polishing carpets after installation - General maintenance person skills for addressing minor repairs or adjustments - Ability to read and interpret schematics or blueprints for complex installations This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Carpet Installer to join our team.
