Franco Trucking Inc. is now hiring 4 full-time Solo CDL Drivers for an OTR/Lay-Down position based out of Louisville, KY. If you have Class A CDL experience and are looking for strong weekly earning potential with a structured schedule, this is an excellent opportunity.
Position Details
- 4 Solo Lay-Down Drivers Needed
- Full-time OTR/Lay-Down position
- 4/6 Schedule: Work 4 days one week and 6 days the following week
- During the 4-day week, drivers have the option to work a 5th or 6th day for additional income
- Approximately $90k to $110k annually
- Alternating 3-day and 1-day weekends
- Dedicated FedEx Ground runs from the Louisville area
- $2,500 Sign-On Bonus
Job Requirements
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record; no accidents or tickets in the past 3 years
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Doubles/Triples endorsement
- Ability to follow instructions and successfully complete required training
- Must complete background check, MVR screening, Clearinghouse registration, and drug testing
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples where applicable
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections
- Handle drop-and-hook freight only
- No-touch freight
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately
- Maintain accurate daily logs
- Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch regarding delays, arrivals, equipment issues, and other operational matters
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Perform other duties as required
