The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analytics Manager with 10 years of experience in sales analytics and inventory planning to manage POS, inventory, and license content reporting. In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with our Planning, Sales, and E-Commerce teams to turn data into strategy, optimize inventory, and drive sales growth.
Duties:
- Analyze POS trends and inventory to make proactive recommendations that maximize sales and minimize overstock.
- Manage and deliver weekly/monthly reports on sales, forecasts, and inventory for internal teams and retail partners.
- Partner with Planning and Sales teams to improve forecast accuracy and secure additional orders.
- Support e-commerce channels (Amazon, Walmart.com, etc.) with reporting, insights, and best practices.
- Supervise and mentor a Sr. Business Analyst and help build analytical capabilities across the team.
- Use historical data and trends to identify risks, forecast demand, and support buying decisions.
- Collaborate with IT on new system implementations and process automation.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in sales analysis, inventory planning, or replenishment (e-commerce experience required).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and strong analytical abilities.
- Experience improving or implementing automated systems and processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous leadership/supervisory experience.
- Ability to work in our Metuchen, NJ corporate office 4 days/week
