POSITION OVERVIEW: Under general supervision of the Associate Resource Coordinator, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract, hire, and retain qualified healthcare professionals and support staff for our long-term care community. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in maintaining adequate staffing levels while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility hiring regulations.

The ideal candidate is passionate about healthcare recruitment, relationship-building, and helping connect compassionate caregivers with meaningful careers serving our residents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment and Hiring

· Manage full-cycle recruitment for all positions and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for high-turnover roles.

· Post job openings on job boards, healthcare career sites, and local workforce platforms.

· Screen applications and conduct initial phone or in-person interviews.

· Coordinate interviews with department managers and leadership.

· Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment screenings.

· Ensure compliance with Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check requirements and federal regulations.

· Assist with onboarding processes and orientation scheduling for new hires.

· Maintain accurate applicant and hiring records.

Sourcing & Community Outreach

· Develop partnerships with CNA training programs, nursing schools, and local workforce agencies in Wisconsin.

· Coordinate and attend job fairs, career events, and community outreach activities.

· Promote the facility as an employer of choice within the healthcare community.

· Utilize social media and recruitment marketing strategies to attract candidates.


Staffing & Collaboration

· Work closely with department managers to understand staffing needs.

· Track hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate sources, and turnover trends.

· Assist HR leadership with retention strategies and workforce planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Passion for the mission of Catholic aging services and a deep commitment to fostering a purpose-driven workplace culture.

· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

· Knowledge of equal employment opportunity (EEO) hiring practices and HIPAA.

· Healthcare or long-term care recruitment experience strongly preferred.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

· Knowledge of best practices in workplace culture, recruitment strategies, and diversity initiatives.

· Knowledge of recruitment platforms and able to navigate technology.

· Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Salary : $30 - $35
