Position Title: Foot and Nail Care Specialist RN
Hours: approximately 32 hours biweekly, 8am-4:30pm, flexible days of the week
Pay: $36-42 an hour
What will you get to do as a Foot and Nail Care Specialist – RN at St. Paul Elder Services?
- Provide high-quality foot and nail care to residents, tenants, community clients, and participants across our continuum of care.
- Perform professional services including nail trimming, filing, callus reduction, and foot health assessments.
- Identify and document common foot concerns such as fungal conditions, circulation issues, ingrown nails, or diabetic foot risks.
- Develop individualized care plans and offer education on foot hygiene, preventive care, and safe footwear.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support client safety, comfort, and mobility.
- Maintain clean, organized clinic spaces and ensure instruments and supplies follow infection control standards.
- Support workflow by maintaining accurate documentation according to SPES policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Refer clients to podiatrists or other specialists when needed. Build warm, respectful relationships with those we serve, reflecting our Franciscan values in every interaction.
- Participate in ongoing education and maintain required foot and nail care certifications.
- Complete external certification training—funded by St. Paul Elder Services—upon hire if not already certified.
