1st shift 7a-3:15pm FT or PT
Mount Alverna Village-Parma, Ohio
Base Rates start at $20/hr and increase based upon years of experience.
$3.00 differential for 2nd shift!
$2.00 differential for 3rd shift!
Additional $2.00 differential for weekend shifts!
Mount Alverna Village, part of Franciscan Ministries, is a vibrant senior living community located in Parma, Ohio. We are a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, memory support assisted living, and skilled nursing/ long-term care. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community. We are currently looking for STNA's (State Tested Nursing Assistants) to join our team!
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance/services as required or instructed
- Observe and report any changes in resident’s physical/emotional condition to the licensed nurse
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and co-workers
- Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education
- Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family
Required skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
- One year of caregiving experience
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
