Franciscan Village, part of Franciscan Ministries, is a vibrant senior living community located in Lemont, Illinois. We are a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, memory support assisted living, and skilled nursing/ long-term care. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community. We are currently looking for Restorative CNA's (Certified Nursing Assistants) to join our team!
Duties and responsibilities:
- Performs Restorative Functions to include Range of Motion, check splints for complications, ambulates residents according to their plan. Assist in feeding.
- Provide total care to residents. Reports changes to charge nurse.
- assist in weighing residents monthly, weekly, and daily.
- Assist wound nurse and doctor during wound rounds weekly and as needed.
- Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education
- Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family
- Schedule consists of rotating weekends and holidays
Required skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- One year of C.N.A experience preferred
- previous restorative experience preferred.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
