With a Weekend Differential of $3.00 an hour and a generous Sign-On Bonus of $3000.00, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents!Position SummaryAs a vital member of our nursing team, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents while supervising the daily activities of certified nursing assistants. Your role will ensure that we meet all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as our established facility policies and procedures.Essential Functions, Key Duties, & ResponsibilitiesLead the daily activities of certified nursing assistants and resident care associates, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.Promote holistic care for residents by following the nursing model.Participate in the admission, discharge, and transfer processes for residents.Assess changes in residents’ status, notifying physicians and families as needed.Transcribe and carry out physician orders accurately.Administer medications and perform wound treatments as per physician directives.Schedule follow-up appointments and transportation for residents.Provide nursing leadership and direct care skills, including colostomy changes, tube feedings, and IV administration.Conduct rounds to ensure resident needs are met and staff are fulfilling their duties.Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for residents.Report incidents or unusual occurrences to community leadership.Maintain adequate stock of medications and supplies, notifying appropriate personnel of needs.Initiate and update care plans as required.Participate in survey processes and QAPI activities as needed.Ensure adherence to infection control principles and report any allegations of abuse or neglect.Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and procedures.Position RequirementsEducation: A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.Licenses/Certifications: Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the practicing state.Experience: 1 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics.Skills & Abilities: A compassionate approach when working with residents.Why Choose Us?At The Village at Victory Lakes, we believe in creating a joyful living environment for our residents and staff alike.
